The Advent and Christmas seasons are an intense time for clergy. Here in Ontario, December also brought severe winter weather, difficult travel and widespread power outages. Still, there were incredible moments in which God’s beauty took my breath away.

Blessed are those who have eyes to see, Jesus said. And when ice and snow and sunshine caught my eye I was blessed indeed. I hope that you, too, can find blessings even in the midst of this season so full of wintry inconvenience.
